Before Ipswich Crown Court on Friday for a plea and trial preparation hearing was 58-year-old Nikolaos Boutelis of St Edmunds Road, Southwold.
He pleaded not guilty to an offence of assault causing actual bodily harm, which was allegedly committed on March 25 last year.
His trial is expected to take place during a two-week warned list in March next year with a pre-trial view in February next year.
