Watching it now and can't help but say not surprised one little bit.

As one of the correspondants says, even animals have more transport safe-guards.

It seems even little ones lives have a price.

For those of you with broadband you can watch it on http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/r ... fault.stm#

For those without it, may I suggest you get rid of your coal-fed computers. :D

Don't believe all you see in this somewhat biased tv prog. The fault lies squarely at the council/pte door for the lowest tender scenario. There have recently been a couple of ops 1 in Wales and 1 in the Nwest who were found to have been using vehicles with no ops licence (ie not licenced at all) no mot, no insurance, drivers not licenced etc. Guess what, in both cases the contracts were NOT withdrawn and given to other ops. These b********* are carrying the most vunerable in society including handicapped kids but no one in authority gives a damn and it happens all over the country. VOSA are so slow to take any action, but if you are licensed properly and carry out driver checks, god help you if you have a side light bulb blow.
