Good job the politicians keep telling us it's only women who are in danger from men, eh? Although, to be fair, as per usual the woman here simply '*may* be able to assist with enquiries' Image released following Folkestone assault https://www.kent.police.uk/news/kent/la ... e-assault/ An image of a woman has been released by officers investigating an assault in Folkestone. ![]() At around 10.40pm on Monday 4 March 2024, a taxi driver was assaulted in his car in Cheriton Road. He did not sustain any serious injuries. Officers are investigating and have released an image of a woman who may be able to assist their enquiries. Can you help? Anyone with information, or who recognises the woman, should call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/36471/24. You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or use the form on their website. |

Are they sure it's a woman and not someone who self identifies as a man. |

Fair points, but if it really isn't a biological female then police would probably regard the misgendering as a bigger crime than the physical assault, er, they, perpetrated. I mean, if it came to court then the victim might have to refer to the perp as 'she' to protect 'her' feelings. In fact it has happened in rape cases where the victim has had to refer to the perp as 'she'
