Edinburgh cabby suspended after complaints

You'd have thought that indeed he might have been suspended by now, and that Sussex's title is in fact correct, but looks like his badge is still fully, er, extant.
But, again, interesting that his name is splattered all over the press without anything having actually been decided - all or some of the complaints could be vexatious, incorrect, misconstrued, or whatever. (South of the border, even if he had been suspended or revoked, his name wouldn't ordinarily be disclosed, correct me if I'm wrong...).
Of course, the evidence as reported and at face value looks pretty compelling, but that's certainly not how it seems to work in England. Also, if the evidene is so compelling you'd think he might have been suspended under delegated powers, and maybe reviewed by the committee, or whatever
