This is on all the news sites, but probably best just to watch what happens on the video.

But apparently was in Rainham, Essex, at 5.10am, and the victim took himself to hospital and reported it to police.

And the Met still investigating...

But the driver has come in for a lot of stick on social media, and unsurprising when you watch the video - not sure why he just didn't floor the pedal when it all kicked off. And he seems more concerned about his motor than the victim. Then that bit where the victim starts handing over wads of cash, and it's gratefully received by the driver :-o

To be fair, the driver may not have been fully aware of what was happening to the victim, and maybe just thought they were throwing punches or whatever. And the victims seems to have got off surprisingly lightly, but who knows precisely what the injuries were :-|

Never had a punter call me 'uncle', though, never mind about 150 times during a trip :-o

Maybe it is his uncle, though, but I'd guess it's just a term of address, maybe a bit like 'boss'...

Reminds me of my early days in St Andrews, when one regular used to call me 'skipper' all the time :lol:

Think that was quite widespread when I was young, but even by then don't think it was used too much. Certainly years since I've heard anyone referred to as skipper, though :lol:

At least, outside the proper maritime context - maybe Chris gets called that :-o

I didn't quite twig at first, but some claiming that the 'driver' of the 'toy' car is actually dead, and that's a coffin, and some kind of funeral ritual :shock:

Think it's about time I logged off...deffo one of those rabbit holes... 8-[

Barely noticed the first time I watched the video, but the 'victim' in the back was also lashing out with a knife...and wonder why he put that fancy looking watch into his underwear :roll:

What's the betting he ends up in the slammer, and the scrotes outside the car get away with it :-o

And it seems the chap in the other video was in a coffin, and he is dead, and he was actually a taxi driver :shock:

Maybe I'll get a funeral like that when I die - it would certainly save a few grand on the usual funeral fees :lol:

So it seems The Man From Uncle is in fact a 'bling influencer', whatever that is precisely :-s

So I wonder if he was actually being mugged by people who knew about his online activities? :-o

But this explains where the big wodge of banknotes came from, and why he hid that fancy pants watch in his, er, fancy pants...

Hopefully the powers-that-be will be looking into how he makes his money, precisely...

But he makes our £10k-a-month Uber driver seem quite unassuming.

Maybe Mr Swipedat won't be quite so cocky in future :twisted:

This is the taxi passenger who cheated death when he was stabbed by a machete-wielding gang in a horrifying attack caught on dash cam.

Bilal Charles was slashed in the face and arm by at least three knifemen, one of whom shattered a back seat cab window with a hammer to reach him.

Bilal - seen clutching a small knife in the footage - was heard pleading with the driver to speed off and was left bloodied and shaken following the early morning attack in Rainham, Essex, on June 23.

He goes by the name of Mr.Swipedat on Instagram where images show him dripping in bling, including diamond-encrusted watches, chains and even Grillz teeth caps, as well as showing off designer brands like Louis Vuitton.

Despite his brush with death, Bilal attended the British Silverstone Grand Prix on July 7, just over two weeks after the attack, and travelled to Amsterdam where he posted images of packets of marijuana.

Other images on his Instagram page show him posing with huge wads of money - including fanning himself with a bunch of £20 notes and holding a stash of cash that is as high as the bottle of Sprite he is gripping in his other hand.

A tattoo on his forearm reads ‘Fast Money’.
