Another bit of scare and doom mogering from the lads up north.

I mean one of them says 'anyone could become a hackney driver under the proposals'.

it begs the question as to why private hire want the status quo?

i tend to get the feeling it is more operator pressure than the true private hire driver.

Yeah but if the report does go in favour of the PH who will want a plate??? None of them because they wil be earning less money.

Just because you are able to have a taxi plate on demand, doesn't mean you will have to take it.
