Well either the licensing stuff in this neck of the woods is pretty uneventful...

...or this reporter has just discovered the council agenda papers etc :lol:

And obviously seems to think that secret squirrel meetings to discuss these things are something out of the ordinary, as opposed to often being the norm :-o

A taxi driver's licence will be reviewed in a closed-door session at a council meeting.

The Taxi and Regulatory Committee will discuss the driver’s Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver Licence in secret at a meeting on Tuesday, March 17 in Monmouthshire.

The agenda on the council's website simply listed 'Review of a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Driver Licence'.

No further details were given about the review.
