Some tyres found at the weekend and featured on Liverpool licensing's twitter account (Or 'Liverpool compliance', as they might say in Wolverhampton :lol: )

Not the baldest tyres you're likely to see, and some of them must just be borderline 8-[

High-res alternatives below if anyone feels the need for a closer inspection - the last photo in particular doesn't show the tread wear indicators too well, and they're obscured by the text superimposed on the photo.

The inclusion of the plates (presumably window or front-facing plates, because they're too small for rear-mounted plates) is presumably for evidential reasons, but obscured for the purposes of these photos. (Or, at least, I'm assuming they're plates...)

Interesting too that they're all at the same spot, and all within half an hour or so.

Which, extrapolating it all, must mean there are a huge amount of cars knocking around with tyres like that. And that's just the trade :-o

(Three of the photos seem to have been taken within a couple of minutes, presumably as some sort of batch, but that's maybe not of much significance :? )

Some other recent action on Liverpool licensing's twitter account in the last week or so - lots going on there :-o

(Readers of Taxi Point may have come across some or all of these on there. But these are the more, er, succinct versions without the excessive padding :lol: )

Liverpool licensing seem better at this sort of stuff than Wolverhamton 'compliance' themselves [-(

They should come up here - one car left all night on position 2 on our main night rank Saturday night (where I've seen 30-40 taxis queued in the past), and that was just the worst offender :-o

The tyre here is more obviously dodgy as compared to the four at the top :-o
