EVENING CHRONICLE (Newcastle, UK) August 23, 2006 Wednesday HEADLINE: Vent your spleen THE Evening Chronicle featured a disabled woman and the taxi service which replaced the care bus. I fully agree with the lady. It's nowhere near as good. Some of the elderly people who have to use taxis have got bad hips and bad spines and have got to bend right down because there is no headroom or anything. It's disgusting. What we should have is minibuses. MRM, Benton. .................................... |

And in 2010.................................................. when they cant get in a saloon car and they have to duck and dive into a WAV.............................................. Whats easier for an elderly person than standing with their back to the front passenger seat and sitting down then swinging their legs in? we get complaints and requests every day "please send a saloon and not one of those thing i have to climb into" |
