Nothing particularly noteworthy here, in the grand scheme of things at least
But I'd guess the description 'destroyed the taxi's sign and roof' is a tad overdone if the damage was only worth £379
I mean, if the quoted figure was as per how these things usually work, the real cost of repairing it was probably more like £37.90
(Maybe something was lost in the translation, and destroyed 'taxi's sign and roof' was actually destroyed 'taxi's roofsign'

)
Man sentenced for racially aggravated taxi attackhttps://www.worcesternews.co.uk/news/26 ... xi-attack/A MAN who was convicted of racially aggravated criminal damage to a taxi in Worcester has been sentenced.Miles Washbrook caused £379 worth of damage to a taxi owned by Mohammed Mobeen on September 27, 2024.
Washbrook, of Cranham Drive, Worcester, destroyed the taxi's sign and roof, with the court finding that his actions were racially aggravated following a trial in June.
Appearing in Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Monday (September 21), the 54-year-old was handed a 12-month community order and will be required to pay Mr Mobeen £579.71 in compensation.
He will also be required to wear an electronic tag for the next 12 weeks, remain at his home address between 8pm and 8am, and attend up to 15 days' worth of rehabilitation activities.
The court noted that the magistrates found the racial element to be an aggravating factor, increasing the community order's severity.
