Jesus! Ours are £280 per year for the plate and £104 for the Drivers Licence. Plus £29 for CRB, and £65 for Medical. Just out of interest: that compares to £120 for a PSV O Licence and £5 per month per bus. Drivers Licence was £21 when I got one, and that lasts for 5 years at a time. Get rid of Taxis altogether is the aim. Licence everything as a 70 seater double deck bus. Its cheaper. Plus you get fuel duty rebate on a bus. Plus you are exempt from VAT on a bus. Plus you get capital grants to buy one. Plus you get revenue support grants to operate one. Plus you aint treated like public enemy number one by the police and councils. Plus you can rank up at Manchester Airport. Plus you can stick your finger up at the Council. Plus you can stick your finger up at Cabbys who have had to pay through the nose for everything theyve got, and pay tax on it so the tax can be given back to bus operators. |
