There's deperate and then their f***ing desperate, but I never thought we would have gangmasters in this trade.

P.S. If you are a member of the PC brigade, I don't want to hear from you.

Well an article in the Observer about a London minicab firm said that the locals called it Taleban Taxis, so that sort of firm?

I wonder how thet checked out their new Afghani drivers? The new Afghanistan Criminal Record office, run by Osama Bin-Bag?

Are they members of the Taliban? Have they killed anyone before fleeing here crying 'political asylum'?

My point really is that most customers might be generally good people, but in my view and experience many aren't that tolerant.

So any firm that has a significant number, in this case in excess of 50%, of non local drivers, then they shouldn't be surprised if they get grief.

Not saying it right, but not everything in this real world of ours is. :?

I would post a reply but I'm afraid that I'd get the same response as I did from the Police when I shouted a 13 and .......................... lets just say I wish that other drivers had responded rather than the PC wait for the boys in blue who took their time as per normal and don't actually have any knowledge of Taxi laws etc! Other driver in respect were pulled back to avoid thembeing charged but were very close and this meant the world to me - justbeing able to see the other cars was enough!

It's taken me three months to get back on the road and thats just local work; I can't go more than a couple of miles from home without having panic attacks but I have to support my family and will continue to do so - this little "not going to give a name to" is not going to beat me forever!
