I think if you asked a WAV customer if they would want a long wait or a Fiat thing, then most would opt for the Fiat thing.

As far as I know the Fiat thing is much the same as Ford and Peugeot things.

Not my cup a tea, any of them, but then I've never had to wait hours for a cab.

Are cabs in your manor unable to move down a few yards on the rank? :?

Nope.

Most of are ranks are seriously overloaded or have on street parking closeby.

Therefore moving down would be unfeasable in several locations here.

Maybe thats why no one has one.

Must add, our HC fleet is 100% w/c friendly anyway.

So there's very little waiting for disabled punters.

Back to the original poster.

I think that it's absolutely rediculous to license a Doblo and not a side loading Peugeot which is a far more suitable WAV.

we do have the peugeot's here in leeds, and a fiat derivitive of the peugeot too, but it's not the TW200 tho, all side entry, BUT the ramps are all the two piece stuff that you have to lug from the boot, my main gripe, is that they'll pass something that, yes, will do the job, but has little or no protection for the driver, but won't pass a peugeot with a sliding one piece ramp from under the floor, which would make wheelchair work so much easier, not all our HC are wheelchair/disabled access up here, all the latest issue and future issues are/will be
