HEADLINE: 'REVENGE' YOBS SCAR BRAVE DAD

A DAD was scarred for life by a knifeman after he confronted yobs throwing stones at his home.

Hassan Khan was beaten with an iron bar then slashed across the face five times.

His attacker then sneered at him: "How do you like that?"

The 30-year-old taxi driver had chased away teenagers who had hurled stones at his two-year-old son's bedroom window.

But as he walked home three older men came back to take revenge.

Hassan said: "As I walked back home a car came screeching up, blocked me in and three blokes jumped out and one started beating me with a metal bar.

"A man tried to stab me in the stomach before slashing me in the face."

Police said a 34-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the attack in Kenton, Newcastle.
