SCOTLAND’S ROADS claimed the lives of three men in separate crashes over Saturday night, it emerged yesterday. In Fife a man died after the taxi he was driving left the road in the early hours of yesterday. The accident, reported at about 2am, occurred on the A914 between Cupar and Pitlessie near the Clashford Toll junction. There were no passengers in the red Skoda at the time and no other vehicle was involved. Fife Constabulary said the driver, who is yet to be named but is thought to have worked for a Cupar taxi firm, appeared to have lost control on a bend and had overturned into a field. He was pronounced dead at the scene by ambulance staff. |

My condolences also to the family and friends of the driver but it only goes to show as i tell many drivers better to be a steady eddie on the road than a fast eddie off it not that i'm suggesting for one moment that he was going too fast |
