I just can't believe that a licensing authority can allow such a situation to arise?

What sort of insurance covers the customers, and what sort of license allows them to serve alcohol?

The whole system is a bloody mess, and the sad thing is, nothing will happen until a dozen or so people are killed in a crash. Then and only then will people, who shouldn't be in our trade, be booted out.

Perhaps then they will have nothing else to do, but apply to be MPs.

Are you sure it doesn't have a pub license Alex

An interesting point when I read the story - I don't know the wording of the legislation, but cars used in connection with a wedding are exempt - so if they just used it for hen and stag nights, is this in connection with a wedding, and if so would they be exempt?

I realise that they are advertising the vehicle for other things, but could the law in theory extend to stag and hen nights

Well if this trade carries on as it is at the mo, then why should any of us bother with the licensing system.

The decent among us are being s*** on by those who are meant to control us, and those who can't stop laughing at us.

Does this Fire Engine have an M1 tested Bar, and is it DDA2000 compliant?

It seems to have a bar Andy, but not the type you mean.

As for the DDA, I think the wheelchairs go on the roof :)

You could always hire a fire engine for the day Nidge.

I'm sure they'd come up to Mansfield for, oh, half a grand maybe.

But if I was you I'd try the local or the fridge first!!

Dusty :)
