Came across this during general browsing earlier this month. Clearly an American attempt at a purpose built Taxi. Almost a rip off of Metrocab. This is like a box on wheels though.

Could you imagine GBC in one of those he would be like the terminator,    :D mind you if they ever came here you would have a clear run any where as folk would get out of your way fast  :D
It just goes to show that someone in America has half a brain, and if they had really thought about it, instead of copying it from a noddy book they could have a good cab,

metro cab are producing about one a month and are available but there is a waiting lis of approx 3 months. Having said that i drove the new TX4 the other day and whatever people may think it is a bit of a beast, but £35000 for the gold its a bit much, thats for the gold, very sooth very fast but still an ugly bugger with what i call bad driver visability.
For those who may not know it its the engine, be it modified thats fitted to the Chrysley Grand Tourer or simular.

A policy where the LA will only license wheelchair accessible vehicles as hackney carriages.

as it should be, ours is a great council 10 year age limit, purpose built 25 feet turning circle metro or TX, 5year age limit on P/H pretenders who still call themselves taxis even though they are not.
