Now I know where Captain Cab gets his divine wisdom. He consults Ken Murray the Cabbies Clairvoyant. It surely can't be a coincidence that both Ken Murray and Captain cab have a column in the local Tyneside Taxi rag, "Upfront"? I was wondering who the Captain was consulting over cross border hiring however I never dreamed it might be a Gateshead clairvoyant? lol

I think everyone might get a rise out of this little story, courtesy of the Clairvoyant Cabby. Perhaps the Captain could persuade him to come on TDO and predict our future?

EVENING CHRONICLE (Newcastle, UK)

December 8, 2006 Friday

HEADLINE: Let me take you to the spirit world

By Adam Jupp, The Evening Chronicle

Taxi driver Ken Murray has his eye on the road and an ear on the spirit world.

Ken, 54, who drives in Gateshead, is Britain's first clairvoyant cabbie.

He gives as many as 20 of his passengers every week readings from "the other side". Ken, of West Pelton, County Durham, said: "It happens all the time.

"There's 100 stories I could tell you about what's happened in the car.

"I see myself as a telephone line. A spirit contacts me and I pass on the message to the person in the car at the time.

"Some mediums go cold when someone's contacting them and others go warm. I go warm.

"As soon as I start to go hot in the car, I know someone's going to contact me."

Ken was already a clairvoyant years before deciding to become a taxi driver. He decided to have a career change to be able to come into contact with more people.

He said: "I went to a funeral and I got a funny experience.

"I started going to a spiritualist church and that was it. I ended up going to a development class to train up on it.

"When I look back on my life, things start to make sense now. I remember once seeing a miner coming towards me. After I walked past, I turned around and he wasn't there.

"I used to do private readings but I think the reason I became a taxi driver was because I used to only see two or three people at a time but now I get hundreds in my taxi every day."

Ken, who has his own column in Tyneside-based taxi trade magazine UpFront, says he can't tell which of his customers he will have to pass a message on to.

He said: "I just have to tell people to stop talking because there's someone trying to contact them from the other side.

"I have had a lot of people crying because they are so touched by what I tell them. Others don't know how to react.

"I love doing it and I love interacting with people and giving messages from loved ones to them. I get a warm feeling from it.

"Many of the people get in touch and ask me to go and do private readings for them.

"Some of the lads on the rank have a joke with me.

"As I walk towards them, they run away, saying I might have a message for them."

"Absolutely amazing". lol

I get my divine wisdom straight from God, I understand its the same divine wisdom that led many a serial killer

But 'Upfront' is a decent enough local magazine, well received in the North.

regards
