I thought you said this magazine doesn't put adds on the front page? Whats this great big red pic of a TW200 doing there? Perhaps it's a subliminal advertisement?

By the way, is there any truth in the rumour that Mr Cummins got a free loan of that E7 he drives, for vehicle promotion?

Regards

JD

lol I had it at 25% it looks like an E7 at 25% lol well it does to me. I'm going to edit my last post so it conforms more to the facts lol.

I told you it was subliminal, a TW 200 made to look like an E7 lol.

I think the story from Brighton was a good account, although I dont know the full story.

I'm sure cab direct will appreciate the subliminal vibes from the TW

I understand the editor owns an E7, although he used to own a TX.

regards

Not a lot of happy cabbies, twenty new plates when the survey said no demand.

And the firms buying up the plates on the cheap.

What a load of she-it the proposed best practice is on page 14, regarding column 3, all new vehicles must be wav??????? an mot 3 time per year ????? pay for an annual licence??????
Who wrote this c rap,
I cannot afford to buy a wav unless its under 10k and by then most will have done about 250,000 miles and will require work continually, so I could end up throwing the hard earned away, keeping one on the road.
Then there is the fact in my area no one likes them and wont get into them so there aren't any, (yes some have tried to run them, I have and it was a complete waist of time, it was off the road more than on it)
All drivers licences should run for 3 years for a max price of £50.00,and not 1 as the councils just use 1 year to line there pockets.
Mot's 3 a year no way, one MOT per annum and an inspection on 6 months, this would be for all Wave and saloons 5 and over, private hire included

my man the sause says most of whats wriiten by taxitalk is not far off the truth.
but he says it didnt matter what the unions or firms wanted.
it all depended on what the lady in the wheelchair wanted.
the LOs were instructed to sort it.
and this was the way it was done.
but he says he doesnt think the firm attachment would stand up if challegned.
not sure anyone thinks it will anyway.
a means to an end.

Interesting to see the pro delimitation gang stepping up the anti. Its a shame the ex Brighton Cabbie could only write an article full of conjecture, without any evidence of wrong doing and generally insulting good people who commit time to the cab trade in Brighton.

It is obvious that the article was intended to allow the reader to draw his own conclusions, something you are obviously incapable of doing, such a pity... :-o

How can any person come to a conclusion from an article of half facts and half fiction. I am capable of letting people draw their own conclusions, what Im not capable of, is letting a person attack the trade I work in, with as I said, an article full of conjecture.
