Cabs use vegetable oil fuel

AN ECO-FRIENDLY taxi company which uses cabs powered by vegetable oil has been launched in Ealing.

Alternative Cars is a new taxi service which runs its fleet of saloons, estates, MPVs and VIP cars on bio-diesel which is derived from vegetable oil rather than crude oil.

Because it is made from vegetable oil it emits no new carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

Arran Brennan, managing director of Alternative Cars, said: "People are more aware than ever of the implications of their actions on the environment, and we all have to weigh up the cost of our activities.

"People are unlikely to give up travelling by car, so we offer an alternative way for people to enjoy a luxury car service without damaging the environment."

Alternative Cars donates £1 for every trip to or from the airport to green' charities to offset any emissions produced by clients' air travel.

Build yourself a processor and make your own in the shed.

And don't forget to pay your fuel duty

The rest of the country are always told about how good London is, it might be bigger, but it would seem it is also thicker, imagine not knowing where your local Bio-diesel diesel station is......

As I said above, build yourself a small processor and make it in your shed.

I'ts really easy to do and costs about 30-35 pence a litre. That's WITH fuel duty by the way.

I don't know why more prople don't do it.

Have a look here if you want any tips.
