No JD it was not me, but I do hope it was one of them drivers who like to go through puddles splashing everybody on pavements. I have a feeling if it was, he will not be doing it again....

Liv Echo January 16, 2007, Taxi pulled out of hole in road A TAXI got stuck in a three-feet hole in the road today after yobs removed a warning sign. The private hire vehicle went into the hole, in Chirkdale Road, Walton, at 6.30am after the driver mistook it for a puddle. Fire crews called to help pull the Nissan car free said heavy rain had filled the hole. Wasn't you was it Mr T? lol Regards JD |

This type of thing got me in to a spot of bother some years ago, i was aware of some 16 to 17 year old lads doing just this down the road from where i live, so me being me and knowing how dangerous this can be decided to go and have a word, i started off being very polite and trying to advise them of the repercussions of their actions, it was met with a FOOK off mister what the fooks it gotta do with you. Fortunately im not a small chap so shall we just say i gave them a quick lesson in respect. About an hour later i had a father on my front doorstep cursing and swearing and reading me the riot act, needless to say he wont be doing that again, however to be honest if this sort of behaviour continues then 1 day someone will lose a life, what on earth is the matter with the youth of today, or am i just gettin old!!!! |
