Only a fraction ever turn up to vote at the AGMs.
So they get what they deserve.

Claude will correct me if I am wrong but I believe that any DAC driver not attending the AGM gets fined.

I personally think this is the most radical event in the trade since PH licensing in London (without doubt the two are linked).

All eyes on DAC now.

This companies have huge customer bases and excellent margins. If they can now just address the issue of what the customer wants they will turn into very major players throughout Britain.

From talking to Mr Kaley at Telford (my how the world changes, Geof Kaley venturing as far as Telford) he is of course now Boss at XETA, mixed fleet. He seems to believe the major corporates want black cabs in the city for fares under 10 pounds and PH for those over, until you get to 50 pound and they then expect limo/exec car service.

Confirms my view that the money in PH in London is too be made upmarket, not in 'minicabbing'.
