When you apply for an operators licence, and want to put on more cars does your council charge the full operator's fee for every car???, or just a small fee for each one you put on.
We are charged the full fee of £169 for each one, even though they are all under one name, and is it legal for the council to do so

I've never heard of any council allowing discounts such as this, so I doubt if there's much mileage in it for you.

Our fee is about the same in Fife, and this covers admin, plates and testing, so even if someone had a fleet it wouldn't save the council any money, so there's no obvious reason why a fleet owner should get a discount.

I suppose they may save a bit with the police checks, but not much?
