If we are allowed to promote taxi mags then may I introduce the Badge from London? http://www.the-badge.org/pdfpages.html Unlike some in London we in the LCDC aren't up Ken's behind. Ian |

Nice to see the mag still concentrating on the 25% of England and Wales. One has to wonder what they will debate when quotas are gone.

Well I'm not worried about it one jot, it the folks behind that mag that seem so paranoid about it.

I notice Mr Millward or was it Cummins? Alluded to me putting some questions to George Simms of the Manchester TODA. I think its fairly obvious that if I had asked George for an interview, I would have asked him some in depth questions that meant him using his brain to reply. I'm afraid it was Tony Mite of Taxi Today who asked George those questions and not me. If Mr Mite had bothered to ask me what questions to ask George I would have advised him. So perhaps the two performing clowns on Taxi Talk Magazine ought to get their facts right before they put pen to paper. Thats always Golden rule number one, just in case the two gentleman don't realise that, especially after being in the Trade as long as they have? lol. I am heartened that they feel somewhat concerned about the competition because we all know that if the magazine wasn't a success then there would be no need to make such a point of criticising it? For instance the two performing clowns make a remark about the lack of Editorial content, well it may have overlooked Tom and Jerry but Taxi Today has more editorial content than their own boring offering? In fact what Taxi Today offered when I was editor was serious content and not bland statements designed to appease the converted. Perhaps the Twins would like to do a word count on both magazines and compare the content, they will soon find out who has the lions share of meaningful editorial content. Regards JD |
