I dun know if anyone read the Mail on Sunday. But they have done a big article on how the licensed ph treade treat customers better than the black cab boys.

Eh met a cabby once,when eh came doon tae Lundin,fae up the northern regions. His name wiz mate. He worked lang oors Started at 8am,breakfast at 9am,elevenses at guess,yip 11am,lunch 12 noon -2pm,efternoon tea at 3pm,finished work at 5pm. Told me he had a mate in the private hire trade,who did the same hours,but took home £20-00 a day less. Says his name was Sussex from Sussex. Said sussy earned £800 per week. No, not at all. In some respects you have to take your hats off to them for doing the ridiculously long knowledge. However just sitting back and letting the PH trade take over, without doing much about it, is a big mistake for them. Although , in my opinion, not a big mistake for customers.
