Well well well, this really does prove what a complete and utter numpty he is, however will you guys and gals just take this roll over and let it happen, i doubt it very much!!!! Would you carry on regardless as they are trying to take your living away from you??????? Now you know how us limo ops feel, outdated bureaucrasy and you cant work with it, so next time some of you folks want a go at us just think about this thread for a minute and think about what the government are trying to do to YOUR trade and livelihoods. Yes i think this is sad and yes i think you ought to fight it and YES i would support you finding a way around this if you had to as this is your food on the table and your mortgage payments. All i ask is that you people see where we come from when we fight the fight with these idiots who think they can run us all offf the roads. UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL

I've seen a couple of taxis 'smoking' since they've had the kit fitted, but thats not true for the vast majority. I see no more smoke than I used to, the Van Aaken system (being fitted to mine in 3 weeks) seems to be popular, with little known problems. It does'nt change my stance on the whole fiasco being unecessary and over priced, but we need to keep a sense of reality which the LCDc does'nt often do.

Alan Flemming is a font of knowledge when it comes to London Taxi trade and the various law's pertaining to it, but he hates Livingstone with a passion, and that can sometimes be evident in his deliveries.

That said, good luck to them on their legal challenge.

I wonder if they have a union that has lawyers that pay them to act for them.

Or maybe they just have the normal lot.

I wish them well.
