Read the daily news provided by Alex.

Like most efmales I did not know one end of the taxi trade to the other till I came in and worked in it. Did not know anything about PH and HC and yellow plates and white plates etc or how to identify them. I have been picked up by any likely vehicle that I flagged down. Also did not have a clue what to do regarding inappropriate drivers as thought taxi drivers a law to themselves. Have spoken to many females recently who have this same view and did not even know that taxis and drivers are licenced and regulated by local council.

Website for women's safety advise women to only use taxi firms they know or if picked up make note of registration No, plate No and Taxi Driver's badge No. That way they wont get into a vehicle that is not a taxi and be able to assertain clearly whether or not it is a registered driver if anything happens.

That way get rid of bogus scum and reduce false accusations of taxi drivers.
Junie
