Post subject:  BUS LANES

Hi Guys

We (The Association of Nottinghamshire Private Hire Operators >>ANPHO) sure could do with some assistance.

With the ever increasing number of Bus Lanes, will you plaease let me know where YOUR ARE ALLOWED ACCESS in your city town etc.

Could you lease let me know:

Your city or town etc>>

Are you a driver of Hackney >>

or

Private Hire vehicle>>

How long you have had access to bus lanes?

Problems that you may have encountered with your council, and advices you can offer us.

Any special access facilities that you are required to purchase, and at what cost.(i.e. Transponders etc).

Have you been required to add to or improve the VISIBILITY of your car(Conspicuity). >>> TO TELL OTHER ROAD USERS THAT YOU HAVE APPROVAL TO BE IN THE BUS LANE!!

I will produce the overall results when completed for all to see; just let me have your email address >> sec@taxiphnotts.org - www.taxiphnotts.org

Thanks
Ray

Apart from a strech of about 100 yards in Brighton, both LPH and taxis can use any bus lanes in the whole of East Sussex. :D

PH@HC can both use bus lanes in Dundee, started a few years ago.

But must be behind each other, not two abreast.

Happy Chappy,but a bit vague.
