Well the fact that he is 51 and still a PC says something about the fella. The fact that he is a fan of the 'do as I say not as I do' brigade says something else. And the fact that it's all our fault takes the biscuit.
Be nice to see him get sacked. |

Who waits 30mins for a taxi and dosen't phone the office and create merry hell? We're lucky to get away with being 15 mins late b4 they start ranting down the phone, probably too pi$$ed to remember who he phoned! |

That was a turn up for the books. usualy it is one law for the law and another for teh rest of us. Didn't have ti blame the taxi. Could always ring and get another one. Not knowing the limit is nonsense. Everyone knows the limit. Should be zero as being a low drinker I get squiffy on two halves or one glass of wine. Don't know why I am not more popular. Girl buys her own. Only drinks halves and gets drunk on two and hilarious on three and a bag of nuts.

Imagine that! people who work as Police Officers are human, my, I always thought they got put in a cupboard at night and got linked into a trickle charger. Apparantly the Police, and the Fire Brigade and every other public service should reflect the public they serve, so he is............ He got caught, now he'll pay the same price as any of us would, a ban and possible loss of career. |

Don't want to lose his career. Like you say he was human. And a lot of lads in the police and fire service go and get wrecked to get the day out like everyone else. If he is a good copper and good at his job let him get on with it. We are going back to puritanical England where you have to sign the pledge and be happily married to a decent woman and have NO persobal weakness or skeletons in the cupboard at all. Hate it when they play hypocrite but not if they are just being human like the rest of us. Just wish they were more understanding and merciful when they are handling out their cautions and racking up their govt statistics. Junie[/b][/u] |

The thing is you can't have a copper with a conviction for drink driving dealing with giving talks and lectures about it the only thing he could probably still do with any credibility is man an enquiry desk |

Quote: Walker told the officer he had only drunk one pint and he should "just let it go, you don't need to do this, I've been in the job 20 years".
I wonder how many times in 20 years he pulled that one before he got a copper who wouldn't toe the thin blue line for him? bet he never even phoned a cab
