I have been having problems with the sliding doors on my Cab since almost the time I bought it.

When I point this out to my local distributor, he take's it 'into the back', you know the garage workshop, comes back and say's it's fixed now , and then........... a few days later, I'm jumping out of the cab having to close my faulty doors again!

I think this may be a bigger problem than some of us are aware. We might be 'Fit and proper' but what about the vehicles.... you know what I mean.

People like to sell us their products .......but the age old story.......... when you want local service .......... Hey perhaps that's just me.

As drivers, we are expected to be 'Fit and proper' vehciles should be 'Fit for the purpose' but for how long? ...... what about the ..........!

Na, Standards yest aint the same!

Have you spoke to the manufacture about this, because it would drive me madder than I am?

Perhaps if you tell me where you bought it from TDO could send a link of this thread to the makers.

Fiats,Euros, soon as there is sliding doors, problems.
When you complain or about to buy new vehicles, hey we have resolved that problem.
Bollocks still the same problems.
Too flimsy the wiring onto the mechanism.
Do not buy the vehicle until the system is working properly.

Was hairy, now bald, was happy now sad.

Hi Alex

Thanks 4 your comments, I will bear theses in mind.

To press, we have been in contact with the local Trading Standards / Citizens Adcvice ?

We presently await a response from customer services @ Fiat; throughout much of this, service and commitmenwt levels are left rather wanting!

You know the value of these vehciles + interest on loan.

The vehcile should at least be able to stand up to the rigours for more than standard >> builder / courier / type market.

Who wants to be getting out of the cab, just to attend to doors >> I finished 'doffing' my cap along time ago!

What I could really do with is, details of those drivers who have similar issue's, hence writing to TDO.

Have a great week-end everyone.
