In May 2004 taxi driver James Lawrence, of Fraserburgh, won £236,000 with a Lucky Dip ticket he bought only five minutes before the terminals closed. Does anyone know how James is getting on and if his good fortune has changed his life for better or worse? Regards JD |

£236000.00 is not really that big an amount of cash, if he is a cabbie his debts could easily amount to that, paying off his cab would be sensible choice, but that would depend on the council rules in his area, in dundee a new plate owner would have to part with 10 percent to clear the debt, if he was a saloon plate owner with a £200 buck car he would have all his winnings to himself, funny how council rules can effect your lottery win |

Regards JD Fraserburgh is 50 miles north of Aberdeen. Likely he was an Aberdeenshire (North) Cabbie |
