I would like to thank Wayne Casey who agreed to meet with me during his recent visit to York for a golfing holiday, he took time out from his break to have a very informative and entertaining talk and was enlightening with his advice.

Tuk tuks taking over the world, the cross border issue in a mess, cabs from one area acting as PH in another, drivers getting killed weekly, fuel and insurance costs soaring, TX4s costing £30,000+, councils coming up with crazy ideas hourly, PH going to be allowed to pick up legally, unions slagging off their own, etc etc etc

And Mr Thinker wants to give the Captain a big hug. Image

It shows the respect Mr Casey has for people involved in the trade ...................... regardless of how busy he is he still makes time to make aquaintances and shake the hands of those who show an interest.

Pity the same cannot be said of others.

Why not is it because some one did something positive for a change and did not display the usual negative and splenetic attitude that would appear to fit the usual maladroit tendencies displayed on here.

There is a comma missing after "... not..." and a question mark missing after "...on here." . It would seem that the tone of your riposte is denoted by your failure to attend to your grammar. Not quite an efficient proof reading is it? Or could you have just been so bad tempered you couldn’t wait to read it through.
However, your solace can be that you participate in what you declare as prevalent, namely, inefficient or clumsy bad tempered postings.

maladroit
/mal droyt/
• adjective inefficient or ineffective; clumsy

splenetic
/splinettik/
• adjective bad-tempered or spiteful.
— ORIGIN Latin spleneticus, from Greek splen ‘spleen’
