But someone tell me if its really such a bad thing to call someone by a different religion?

Yes it might not be right, but is it one of the worst things that can said, and is it a criminal offence?

Me, if someone called me a Jew, Muslim or a Sikh, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest. :?

He said part of the comments included that he was a Hindu. Mr Singh is a Sikh, not a Hindu.

Mr Singh said he was left "paralysed" by the incident.

I wonder what these people would have done during the second world war when they were witnessing neighbours limbs being blown off, and they're homes, properties and lifes destroyed in a few seconds?

Is'nt it amazing how in 2007 people can now be 'paralysed' by words over their religion, all in the name of their compensation / publicity claims?

I wonder how much time the Police or media in Belgium or France or Russia would have given such a load of sheeite like this?

Only in 'PC' England, with it's been bag leftie press.

So you think it is ok to verbally abuse any body in the name of free speech.
Hopefully it will end when bigots like you have been dealt with.

If he's been here 24 years, he should have known better than that.

bigot
n. person with fixed and intolerant belief. bigoted, a. bigotry, n. such belief

How the 'old fart' associates that with a view on a verbal exchange, I don't know. It seems nowadays anyone who does'nt subscribe to the socialist point of view is a bigot, a racist, and a thug.

It's good to see the looney left are running scared as society suddenly wakes up to their alterior motives, and the only retort they have is to scream racist and Bigot.

One day common sense and majority views will return to society.

It is Badger that I am calling a bigot. We live in a multi racial/cultural society and we should respect everyone equally until someone oversteps the mark and the Marquis did that long ago.

Isn't the Marquis entitled to the same courtesy?
Do we simply accept the uncorroberated claims of Mr Davinder Singh, because the Marquis has a reputation?
I'm pretty sure Mr Singh will have encountered abuse before and will do so again, but we will not hear about it because it was not perpetrated by someone famous (or infamous).
I'd be more inclined to believe Mr Singh if there was no compensation claim for his hurt feelings.
A thick skin is essential in this trade.
If I had a quid for everyone who insulted me in the course of my work, I could have retired years ago. I suspect most of us could say the same.

TBH I'm not sure he does.

The man is a low-life druggie, and clearly he used religion to have a pop at the driver.

Thing is I'm not sure he did anything illegal. But I'm more than happy to be proved wrong.

But did he? We only have Mr Singh's word for that.

Neither am I. Certainly not on this evidence.
