You mean the DOT has 'advised' them to stop clamping cars.

The looney left boroughs in London will never stop their war against the motor car, too much free cash that may be misssed out on.

Indeed it does sound a little wishy washy, but that guidance, in time, will find it's way into council procedure.

If for no other reason than if they don't then the DOT can turn off the info tap from the DVLA. :wink:
