It was only after an exceptional hardship case was fought that Mr Nawaz escaped disqualification.

In other words it was because banning him would have an adverse effect on others. More than likely family. :roll:

I read somewher on here that you can only use the extreme hardship line once in 3 years. if this is the case it should be interesting to see the outcome of his other offences. :wink:

Indeed that is correct, and you can only use that for totting up offences.

So for charges of careless/dangerous/drink driving it doesn't apply. :wink:

The way i read the article all the offences had been dealt with and the 31 points was the result i assume his licence was below the 12 points before the case but if there is any follow up to check up on him and he ends up in court again they will throw the book at him
