Thought I would have a look at the "so called" Association representing the limo trade.

It looks to me that you don't even have to abide by any licencing legislation! you only have to have it as an aspiration. (maybe only a dream)

The website says that members only have to aspire to proffessional standards. ( I think that means you don't have to meet them!!)

Definition of aspire: to long, aim, or seek ambitiously; be eagerly desirous, esp. for something great or of high value.

So join and exspire then.

So I thought I would be objective and look at the ELA. (European Limousine Association).

Having dug about it seems that they are more picky and insist that you have to be a legal operator to join!

If you need help it is on offer but they have a probatioary system.

Well done people!!!!

Looks like they insist on qualiy and ethics rather than numbers! (or numpties).

Well at least with that pre-condition it shouldn't need much more than a hummer to have their AGM. :D

As a founder member of the ELA i would thank you for that post, however i am prepared to accept that even we sometimes get it wrong, however when it is proved we act upon it!! :D
