Head-on crash in Elstree Road

Two people were taken to hospital after a taxi and a Peugeot crashed between Bushey and Elstree this morning.
Firefighters from Garston and Borehamwood were called to the crash, outside The Fisheries restaurant, Elstree Road, at around 3.30am.
Garston Watch Commander Tony Mcmenamin said the taxi driver needed to be cut out of his vehicle.
Both drivers were treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
