Just a point about sex discrimination. Can a taxi/private hire company refuse to carry male passengers? Can a firm advertise for female only drivers?

I think a firm can refuse to carry male passengers, if they have a reason other than it's a male passenger.

Don't think a firm can advertise for only female drivers.

Up here there are very few acceptable reasons to refuse a fare. Being male isn't one of them 8)
