Makhan Singh, aged 48, of Spring Parklands, Dudley, was handed a 12-month community order, to run concurrently, and handed five licence points for being a taxi driver involved in an accident which caused personal injury and failed to stop at the scene of the accident. The defendant was also handed a 12-month community order for being a taxi driver involved in an accident causing personal injury to another and failed to give their name and address to a person having reasonable grounds to require it and failed to report the accident at a police station or to a police constable as soon as possible. _______________________ |

Very lucky man not to lose his license, as normally it's a minimum of 10 points.

I think it depends on the seriousness of the injury being left up to the judges discretion |
