Crawley cabbie robbed during new year's trouble
A taxi driver has had a knife held to the back of his neck and his takings stolen in a robbery in West Sussex.
The male driver, from Surrey, was picking up three young men outside Bewbush Leisure Centre, Breezehurst Drive, Crawley, in the early hours.
They got into his taxi and threatened him while it was still stationary.
The robbers - said by police to have all been aged in their 20s - stole cash and computer equipment before running away from the scene.
Sussex Police said the incident took place at about 0135 GMT on New Year's Day.
The taxi driver was not injured, a spokesman said.
