I wouldn't jump to conclusions about this incident. ___________________ Manchester Evening News December 15, 2007 Saturday Longsight A motorist who came to the aid of a sexual assault victim could hold clues to trace her attacker. The male driver gave the distressed woman a lift from Birchfield Road, Longsight, to her home in Clayton at around 5.30am on Thursday. She later told a relative she had been attacked on a taxi ride from the city centre. Police are trying to trace the driver who helped her and stress he is 'in no way a suspect'.
