What's so hard about finding this guy, assuming he is a cabby? Perhaps he's not a local cabby? Or perhaps he's not a cabby at all?

Cabbie urged to call police

Dorset Echo

POLICE are appealing for a taxi driver who gave a young woman a lift home in Weymouth to come forward.

The woman was picked up on the Esplanade and taken to the Broadwey area early on Sunday, January 13.

Sergeant Tony Smith, of Weymouth Police, said: "I'm having a few problems locating the taxi driver.

"I'm trying to find out what happened just before the woman got put in the taxi and I would like to speak to him about it."

The taxi driver, who is described as big and bald and was driving a white Transit van-size taxi, picked the woman up shortly before 3am.

He should contact Sgt Smith on 01305 222222.
