See the cover story on the latest latest copy of TAXI under the my LTDA link. You know the LTDA don't you? That's the London only trade representative body that has 10 times more members than the national GMBPDB can manage. Should I mention that?

I hope the Metro Cab 'green' happens, but one has to wonder if this is yet another false dawn.

I'm wondering if the Facina's, as in Cab Direct are behind this venture? They must be doing well since Edinburgh relaxed their COF. Perhaps well enough to back this project? |

I'm sure you are aware, that the National GMB PDB will use it's resourses to help it's members both locally and Nationally. It's also worth mentioning that the GMB PDB do not discriminate against any individual whether Hack or Private Hire. Regards BB |

I don't think it's got anything to do with the old TTT group. Any choice would be welcome. I only hope the power unit will be up to the job. I still beleive the E7 would be the best alternative. £40K ?? What TX4 model was that? The Silver comes in at around £34. |

So the alternative power scorce for backup and rechargeing the batteries is the Wankel engine. Does it not make you wonder why the Wankel is not heard of much? Why? Because it is a load of crap. From what I have seen of this new cab. It definatly tastes of Metrocab. |
