just found out i've been baned from talking limos-and the ela forum has gone also, are certain people trying to run the limo world there way on self drive hire and if you dont fall in line your baned- dose any body know whats going on???

As I understand it John has been removed from the Talkinglimos forum simply because he no longer complies with the rules of membership. The rule that he no longer complies with is that members must have a limo related website. Alex from TDO has access to Talkinglimos by permission form the owner. The web site that John was using was his former employers web site and he had objected to it being used. Therfore no website, no membership. It is also my understanding that John is also a member of another limo forum on which he states that he works for the limo workshop which is also not true so. Like it has been said many times there are always 2 sides to a story. By the way John, what link do you have to either taxis or limousines?

I have been told by freinds in the limo world that the ones who run the ELA tried before it was formed to take control of the then NLA. They turned up at the NLA " AGM " trying to be voted on every post of the commitee, but when they failed to get nominated for all posts they walked out .They then had a meeting at a roadside cafe and the ELA was born. After a year and with the potential of members from all over europe they have approx 40 members. It appears that the limo world have seen right through this bunch of power hungry nobodies. It seems very unlikly that a third of members will not rejoin. Even our own Kirmit has stated on the ELA forum he will not rejoin. The ELA was formed for one reason only to try and get 16 seat limos legal..

you said it son- you got it down to a tee- as a founder member you know who your friends are- not many out of the founder members
