Pervert cabbie faces jail sentence

A minicab driver who told a passenger he liked "hairy girls" and lesbian
porn films before molesting her is facing jail.

Naeem Ahmed, 41, locked his teenage victim in his taxi and forced her to
perform a sex act on him after bombarding her with sleazy questions.

A jury at Kingston Crown Court convicted the pervert of assault by
penetration and he faces jail when he is sentenced on February 22.

The 19-year-old was on a night out with another girl and a male friend in
Wimbledon village on May 18 last year when she fell foul of Ahmed, a
licensed driver for Wimbledon Car Services.

The three friends hired Ahmed to take them home in his silver people
carrier and the fiend immediately started talking dirty.

"He told them he liked hairy girls - not a conversation to everyone's taste,
but they all played along," said Simon Shannon, proseucuting.

The male passenger got out at Raynes Park and the two girls stayed in the
taxi, said Mr Shannon.

"The defendant also started talking about lesbians, asking the girls if they
were lesbians."

The victim's friend then got out of the cab in Kingston, leaving the
19-year-old alone with the sleazy driver, who is married with three
daughters.

Ahmed suggested the girl move into the front passenger seat in order to
give him more detailed directions, and she agreed.

He asked her if she had any tips for him about how to sexually satisfy his
partner, the court heard.

When he got to the victim's road, Ahmed drove straight past her house
then parked the cab, locking the doors and leaning across her.

He grabbed for her crotch and exposed himself, then forced the girl to
touch him sexually before fondling her.

The teenager finally managed to struggle free and unlock the door before
jumping out of the cab and running home, where her mother called the
police.

DNA traces linked Ahmed to the scene of the attack but he denied
assaulting the girl, claiming she offered him sexual favours in return for a
discount on the cab fare.

Ahmed, of Lynmouth Avenue, Morden, denied one count of assault by
penetration.

Maybe the Arch-Bishop of Canterbury has a point re Sharia Law, cos that chap defo needs his knackers chopped off.

Mind you, if everyone that rips off a customer gets his hands chopped off, there will be a lot less driving cabs.

The problem I have with this case is the fact that after all the sexual chit chat and inuendo the female passenger vacates the back seat for the front seat at a time when she is supposed to be a little uneasy with the tone of the conversation and at a time when she is alone with the driver.

I'm not saying justice hasn't been done but such actions from the passenger would certainly have set a few alarm bells ringing in my pint sized head.

She might have been scared /drunk? what if it was your kid ? i would show no remorse for this piece of scum ..and its not the first time someone from wimbledon cars has done this they employ a particular type of scab driver if you know what i mean

Let me see if ive got this right, he started perving as soon as the 3 passengers got in the car and yet the MALE passenger got out first and then the other female passenger, this left one female in the car.

Is it me, or should'nt they have ALL got out together as soon as he started perving.

That would have been the logical thing to to do however the passenger for some reason decided that she was best placed to sit in the front seat and give the driver directions that she couldn't have given from the back seat.

I haven't got a clue what was in the mind of the victim but if she felt for her own safety then why did she move closer to the driver by getting in the front seat?
