This story was repeated in the local paper in their Tuesday edition this week. But I cannot find it on their site yet. B. Lucky

The article says the hearing will take place December 2007, do you know if that was the case Mr Bandit? But the best bit of the whole thing is that it's council v council, as opposed to the normal council v some mush with the balls to front up. |

Sussex, You forgot to mention that after the case there will be even more Berwick plates, and Newcastle council will have a nice big bill to settle, it would be even better if the Court ordered them to reduce the fees to the Berwick ones

Perhaps we should all join Scotland that way everyone in the UK could avail themselves of the additional financial benefits enjoyed by some North of the Border. Or perhaps we should have an English Parliament based on PR were we can mould our own destiny? Regards JD |

I suspect it's local cos we have got a story about a vicar giving a smack-head £100 a day to buy heroin. And that cash came from a charity account.

The program was poor. Ten minutes and all it did was expose what we see every day of every week all over the country and that is some private hire and hackney carriage drivers picking up when they shouldn't. If at some stage I can get it onto cd I'll post it. Regards JD |

Methinks the problem was also implying that the father gave the money to the smack-head for services rendered.
