Who's corrupt the speaker or his wife?

The disclosure that the Speakers office of Mr Martin had deceived the public over "Mrs Martin's" taxpayer-funded taxi journeys, caused his spokesman, Mike Granatt, to resign for "ethical reasons".

The buck stops at Martin. He isn't the first politician to falsify expenses and he won't be the last.

It just proves that you can't trust some Labour Politicians, lol just like you can't trust some Tory politicians.

Was this the woman who'd spent £4,000 on Taxi fares then slammed them all on expenses??

I just wish politicians wouldn't try and hide their taxi expenses.

They should be proud they are supporting a valued industry.

I don't know the exact figure but you could be right. I find it hard to believe that a politician no matter what his status can turn a blind eye to his wife obtaining taxi rides at the expense of the taxpayer.

I think it is well known by now that I don't have much time for corrupt politicians even though their own investigative body turns a blind eye to their corruption and finds they have no case to answer because of a piece of Parliamentary jiggery pokery.
