Agony as man loses pounds 1,800 cash
A MAN has lost his wallet containing pounds 1,800 which was due to be spent on his wife's headstone.
Howard Thain caught a taxi between 5.30pm and 6pm with friends in St Mary Street, Cardiff, on Tuesday to Pentwyn.
Mr Thain paid half the taxi fare along with a friend but has not seen his brown wallet since.
The money was due to be paid the following day on a memorial stone for his wife's grave who died in 1999.
