Well I was up there, and those girls on the stands, especially the girls on the LTI stand, very very nice.

I suspect they wouldn't know one end of a TX from the other, but who cares?

Mr reporter is quite right though, the food prices were out of order.

Nice vehicles up there though, in my view the best part. The data boys were trying their best, especially with my favs the IPACs and PDA.

So much better than the one up north. :D :D :D :D :D :D

Early in the morning it is so dark,
We are setting off for Sandown Park,
We pack our wares so tidy and just,
If we do so well, we wont go bust.

We travel wide roads we go so fast,
we think of fairs of recent past,
This year a stand we cannot afford,
Just hoping someone will welcome us aboard

We arive at the racecourse in good time,
we hope to god everything will go just fine,
First we seak out friends at Diplomat,
there not here, that Stewarts a rat,

Well lets put on our thinking cap,
well go to the bar the coffees on tap,
we look at the wall it is so bare,
our glance turned to a stubborn stare

I know, said Geoff, where we can go for free,
Lets seek out Mike at Jubilee.
off we went to find his stand,
a noise in the background of a band,

we looked all over so quick And true,
Hell mikes not here what shall we do?
The stands erected around the hall,
many companies expect a ball.

I know said Geoff what it is to be,
we must hunt and look for T and G
so we found, a man and his table,
we showed him our wares and if we were able.

The gentleman aggreed at a glance,
we talked of disputes within France,
so we set up in space we were given,
up came Maurice Habden and David Niven.

We had a chat about the trade,
What a year no cash made.
off they went to look at the show,
we looked around the stands aglow,

all too soon the show came to an end,
the stands come down and home we send,
this will be written as the best,
it realy hasnt been as good as the rest,

Homeward bound we do look back,
well this year we missed the right track,
planning is what we need for next year
We reach in the fridge, so empty of beer.

The food was grot and expensive for what it was.

I had a heart attack at the insurance quote up on the wall.

I felt that Auriga's money would be better spent on technical bods rather than corporate entertainment.

I found out that Marandy and the London Underground were not terrorist organisations.

But ohhhhh Jeez! Those lads from the PCO !!!! Like something out of jurasic park! The real world awaits them.

I was VERY dissapointed that the Welsh girl from Cab Direct was not there (who cares about Pergots turning circles fer chrisakes?) The Welsh girl would have stolen the hearts of the PCO. (And mine - which she probably already has - I was very tempted to buy another V-class off her the other day, but what would I do with the one I already have? Has anyone on here actually met her?)

On the whole, I was well impressed with Sandown. It is sooooo nice to be able to speak to peeps who know what they are talking about. I met a guy from Voyager who was really helpful, knew exactly what he was talking about, and I dare say we will be popping up to Crewe to see him soon. I also spoke to a girl on the LTI stand who knew Jack about them, and she wouldnt marry me anyway, so no visits planned to LTI.

A good show, but a bit dissapointed not to meet Wharfie and some of the others if they were there. (As with previous shows, we ought to organise something it has been said).

My conclusions from the show:

I buy a new V-class from Cab Direct, get Voyager to convert it, marry the Welsh girl, get her a hackney licence, and live happily ever after.

I forgot about that.

They looked so fresh faced, they looked quite keen. They really don't know what lies a head of them.

The PCO may well be at the next shows, but those fresh faced, keen lads will be long gone. Of that there is no doubt.

I thought you wrote that Andy. But I don't know what you looked like. Equally, although I am aware that Paddington Bill must have been at the show, I don.t know what he looks like either. And, Although I do know what Wharfie looks like (only because I just missed him at Donny) I didnt actually see him there either. I did speak to a Bin there, but it didn't answer back, so I knew it wasn't Dusty.

There was a little dwarf bloke there smoking cigars who I thought might have been Tom Thumb, but when I asked him if he was, he smacked me in the gob. So it obviously wasnt him. (Nah, not really). Anyway, I dont think Tom was there, as there was nothing that good in the car park.

I did have a thought that if we were all anonymous we would never meet anyway. Or, that you'd all seen our crew and gone and hid.

Anyway, at the next show, if you see a geezer who looks distinctly like a tramp, come up and say hello to me.

I was very dissapointed with donnington, so to Go to Sandown minus diplomat, who are the best marketeers going, and Jubillee, who are always fun next to the lti stand is for me a waste

Bill went for us to replenish the briteboards get magic wallets and the like and sniff anything new.

but unless I could meet up with you and maurice andy, there was no point.

Wharfie

Now I'm not too sure about those 'brite boards'.

They looked good, but they were in the darkest place at the show, with loads of black curtains stopping the light coming in.

If you can take the curtains and stop light coming into Gatwick and Heathrow etc, then they might work.

Otherwise I'm yet to be convinced. :?
