Has anyone ever experienced this sort of situation?

We had a discussion regarding parking on private property some time ago but I don't think it involved clamping. If my memory serves me well the recovery of any fine could only be by way of civil court so although the driver removed this clamp the company concerned could still recover any parking fine through the civil court, depending on what the signs said about stopping.

Regards
